Armondo Cochran started Shine On Your Time in 2013 to give our neighbors a car wash they could count on. We run two shops and two ways to get clean: washed by hand in Shelbyville, or a soft-touch tunnel in Frankfort when you need it done fast. Same prices at both.

I took my Toyota Prius to them after years of trying to get stains out of the seats and smoke smell out of the car left by the previous owner. They cleaned it so well, shampooed the seats, did some kind of odor removing bomb for the interior, and it smells so clean now.

Questions we get at the window
How much is a car wash?
Outside washes are $15, $20 or $25, and Inside & Out is $25, $35 or $45, the same prices at both shops. Every wash is hand dried.
How is my car actually washed?
Two ways, same prices. Shelbyville is washed by hand with clean mitts and dried with microfiber. Frankfort is a soft-touch tunnel, the quick one for a lunch break, and it still gets hand dried.
Where are you, and when are you open?
Two shops: 31 Main St in Shelbyville and 594 E Main St in Frankfort. Both are open Monday through Saturday, 9am to 5pm, and closed Sunday.
How does the Shine Club work?
It is $20 a month per vehicle on top of whichever wash you already buy. On the Outside lane that is unlimited washes all month; on Inside & Out it is one wash a week. Most people break even at two washes. No contract, and you can cancel anytime.
Do I need an appointment?
Not for a wash. Pull up any time we are open. Detailing is worth booking ahead so we can give it the hours it deserves. Call Shelbyville at (502) 257-2308 or Frankfort at (502) 352-2443.
Will you come to me?
Yes. Any detail on our menu can come to your driveway, your office or the farm for a $30 travel fee, and we bring our own water and power.
