Soft-touch tunnel · full detailing
Built for a working lunch hour
Frankfort is the shop for people who don’t have all afternoon.
This is our drive-through location, and the tunnel is soft-touch so it’s quick, and the crew still hand dries it at the end. If you work downtown or anywhere around the capitol and you’ve got a lunch break instead of a free Saturday, this is the one you want.
Outside only is exactly that. Pull through the tunnel and get back to work. It handles the everyday grime, the pollen in April, the road salt in January, and the film that builds up on a vehicle that lives outside.
When it needs more than that, the full detailing menu runs out of this shop too. Same nine services, same pricing as Shelbyville. Book those ahead so we can give your vehicle the hours it deserves.
Full service, step by step
What happens when you hand us the keys.
- Pull up. An attendant meets you at the vehicle and you pick your wash.
- Head inside. Full service means you wait in the lobby. Coffee, a TV, somewhere to sit.
- Interior first. The crew vacuums it out, wipes the seats and the interior surfaces.
- Through the tunnel. Soft-touch, in and out in minutes.
- Hand finish. Hand dried, then door jambs, windows and mirrors wiped down.
- Final inspection. A walk-around before we hand the keys back.
Outside only skips straight to the tunnel. If you want the interior done and the hand finish, that’s the full service wash, so see the pricing.

Good to know
Frankfort questions
Where is the Frankfort car wash located?
We're at 594 E Main St, Frankfort, KY 40601 on East Main Street. Open Monday–Saturday, 9am–5pm. Closed Sunday.
Is Frankfort a tunnel wash or a hand wash?
Frankfort is our drive-through tunnel, a soft-touch wash and the quickest way to get clean here. Our Shelbyville shop is the hand-wash location, and it's the one with self-serve bays.
What kind of wash is the Frankfort tunnel?
It is a soft-touch tunnel, the quick option, in and out on a lunch break, and hand dried at the end. If you would rather have it washed by hand start to finish, our Shelbyville shop does that at the same prices.
What happens during a full service wash in Frankfort?
You pull up and an attendant greets you. Once you pick full service, you head into the lobby and wait. The crew vacuums the interior, wipes down the seats and the interior surfaces, then the vehicle goes through the soft-touch tunnel. At the end they hand dry it, wipe the door jambs, the windows and the mirrors, and do a final walk-around inspection before you get the keys back.
What if I just want the outside done?
Then it's a straight run through the soft-touch tunnel. That's the quick option, and it's what most lunch-break customers get. Full service adds the interior work and the hand finish on the jambs, windows and mirrors.
How fast is the tunnel wash?
It's the quickest thing we offer, which is why it's popular with folks working downtown. We won't promise a number of minutes, but call ahead at (502) 352-2443 and we'll tell you what the line looks like.
Can I get a full detail in Frankfort?
Yes. The complete detailing menu is available here, same pricing as Shelbyville. Detailing is scheduled ahead so we can set aside the time.
Do you have self-serve bays in Frankfort?
No. The five self-serve bays are at our Shelbyville shop. Frankfort is the tunnel wash plus full detailing.
Does my Shine Club membership work here?
Yes. One membership covers you at both locations.
Do you wash or detail RVs, boats, horse trailers and motorcycles in Frankfort?
Yes. RVs, boats and trailers do not go through the tunnel, they go to our detail side. Two levels: a hand wash for regular upkeep, or a full detail with black streak removal, gel coat work, aluminum polish and the interior. Priced by size, so call Frankfort at (502) 352-2443 for a real number, and give us a day of notice so we can set aside the time.
Can you come to me instead of me bringing it to Frankfort?
Yes. Any detail on our menu, RVs and boats included, can come to your driveway, your barn or your office for a $30 travel fee, and we bring our own water and power. Come to us or we come to you, whichever is easier. Call Frankfort at (502) 352-2443 to set it up.
